Improv Your Dutch is an initiative by me, Jenny Hasenack, improv teacher, scientist and language enthusiast.
I am a native Dutch speaker and therefore have enormous respect for anyone who is learning this language. In my work as an (applied) improv teacher, I have seen how useful creativity, playfullness and humor are in learning new skills.
I love it when people make grammar mistakes in an Improv Your Dutch workshop – it means that they are making up their own sentences, not just repeating the ones they have heard from others.
Apart from IYD, I teach improv to everyone, really: from toddlers, to office workers, to professors and everyone in between. When I’m not working I like to cook, solve puzzles and have spontaneous good conversations while waiting for a train.
